After a successful career in the Republic of Moldova three young Dan, Arsenie and Radu came in Romania to conquer the musical market in this country.
Radu Sarbu was born in 1978, Dan Balan in 1979 and Arsenie in 1983. The band O-zone was set up in Chisinau. Radu, the oldest member of the band, spent his childhood in Orhei city. His mother has worked for Cultural Center of town and it was maybe one of the reasons for that was close to music, taking music lessons in this center.
Arsenie Toderas spent his childhood in Chisinau and in that time listened a lot of Russian music. At 16 years as part of the folk band Stejareii, playing the contrabass. He wanted at one point to approach the opera and took lessons from famous opera singer Larisa Shulga, well known in the USSR. Larisa Shulga became one of the most important persoane of his life.
Dan has grown into a privileged environment. His mother wanted her whole life to become an actress or even a singer. She has worked in television and has recorded several songs with her son. Two of them appear on the first album, released by O-Zone in the Republic of Moldova. Mihai Balan, his father, was in the period 1995 - 2001, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Israel. Parents wished that Dan has studied law. The band O-zone was launched in 2002, and in 2003 received Double Gold Disc. Also in 2003 the band became well - known and internationally, but in 2005 the band was dissolved for reasons that are not too well known.

After the separation of O-Zone, Dan Balan has returned with a vengeance on the music market and launched in Bucharest's first solo album, The Power of Shower. After the album, The Power of Shower, the artist wants to come on the market again with a pop-rock material.
Arsenie has today an individual career.
