Erasmus Quellin II (19 November 1607 - 7 November 1678), Flemish painter, born in Antwerp. He was a Baroque artist and also a philosopher.
He came from an artistic family : his father, Erasmus Quellinus I, was a sculptor, as was his brother Artus. The second brother, Hubert, was an engraver. The mother, Betje van Uden, was the daughter of Lucas van Uden, painter.

Erasmus Quellin II in known especially as a student and assistant of Rubens, in the 1630s. He produced several
altar pieces and also some historical and mithological scenes, as well as alegorical compositions. His literary and humanistic education made him very respected in Antwerp and also provided a vast area of ideas and subjects. An avid reader, he managed to assemble one of the best private libraries in Antwerp. According to some sources of his time, Erasmus also had a degree in Philosophy and even wrote a tract.
In 1633 or 1634 he became a member of the Guild of St Luke in Antwerp.
