Artist's Presentation Sorina Ionescu

I was born in Romania, the country that made my soul to open to Nature, Art and Spirituality. Here, I continue to paint every day with joy and enthusiasm. Painting is an important part of my life, of what I represent. I paint themes that concern me, inspire me, due to the need for artistic expression of Beauty, personal vision of Nature, Life and Universe. With every artistic creation I try to send to others a touch of the beauty perceived through my eyes.

One of the most common themes in my work is Nature, in all its forms and manifestations. In this case, the inspiration occurs most often through direct observation or creative imagination, in agreement with great sensitivity towards the environment. Also some paintings have abstract themes that appear as revelations or visions and represent energetic realities of Life and Universe, or they can be representations of emotional or philosophical concepts such as Beauty, Love, Life, etc., highlighted in pure state or in contrast with their opposites.

The colors are vivid, the paintings animate the spaces that host them, and they can change, at an emotional and spiritual level, the lives of those that connect with them, by transmitting Light, Love, Peace, Serenity, Optimism, Creativity, Mystery, Harmony, Joy of Life, etc.

I paint a wide range of paintings, from the very large, which can furnish an entire wall, to the small size ones, that can easily be offered as a gift. Also, I create different decorative objects, stained glass in overlay technique, mural paintings including for children and kindergartens, all these from a great desire to fill the lives of people with color and harmony.
